Russell P. Wall:
Sure, I'm a Georgia boy, but I'm feeling right at home in Alabama these days. With my wife Brooke and our toddler twins Charlie and Sarah, I'm putting down roots in Chelsea. Since first arriving in Birmingham in 2008, I have enjoyed getting to know the friendly folks and beautiful surroundings of the fine city of Birmingham and great state of Alabama.
When I'm not at the radio station, I enjoy spending time with my wonderful neighbors. God has blessed my family with some great friends in the neighborhood and at Redstone Church.
As for working on WDJC, I'm having a fun time being a part of the ministry of this respected radio station. Each day on our show, I am encouraged by the moving and meaningful music, the interesting and insightful guests, and the open and honest callers and emailers. Thanks to you, 93.7 WDJC truly is radio that matters.
David is excited to be a part of WDJC's morning show. He and his gift of a wife Sonya are the proud parents of Jessica, Isabella and Will and call Hoover home. The Lamb's attend Metro Church where David sings in the choir and is active in the Men's Ministry. Before hearing David on WDJC, you likely watched him on TV when served as news anchor at CBS 42 in Birmingham.
The opportunity to be a part of the WDJC family is a real privilege to David. He looks enjoys helping WDJC listeners get their mornings off on the right foot with a proper dose of music, humor and encouragement from God's word. David speaks often to church and civic groups on the role his faith plays in his life, the importance of family and the responsibilities and opportunities for Godly men to make a positive difference in the lives of their wives, families and communities.
