An inspiring mix of the old and the new

Word and Worship, Then and Now is worship music from contemporary artists, and from the era of classic Christian artists, who you may have grown up with, and clips of the spoken Word.  Host Justin Flores creates a blend of the old and the new, punctuated by Timeless Truths.  It is Justin’s prayer that this show glorifies God and enhances your life.

    Justin Flores
    I love music.

And since becoming a follower of Jesus Christ, I have been enthralled by hymns and spiritual songs and those who sang them. It has been a joy to learn of pastors and speakers of the past who have faithfully delivered the Word of God too.Now both of those things are coming together on the all new “Word and Worship Then and Now” program. We will take the hymns and spirituals, recorded from the last 80 years to today, along with recordings of those “pillars” of the church that delivered the Word, and blend them together to create an inspirational showcase. We have all this music and recordings and don’t want them to sit collecting dust anymore.

    Host of Word & Worship
    Sundays 9a-7p

“In 1997 my wife wrote a dream job letter to a local radio station. My lifelong dream was to be on the radio. As a birthday surprise, I was given a tour of the station, and miraculously offered a part time position, and the rest is history as they say. From light rock, country, R&B oldies, to even hosting a three hour talk show on a news/talk station, I have had the privilege of being used by God to encourage and edify people for nearly 30 years. It is my ultimate goal, in anything I do really, to make you the most loved.”

Word and Worship is a wonderful opportunity

Mr. Crawford has given me the chance to host a show that is near and dear to my heart. I love music, and since becoming a follower of Jesus Christ, I have been enthralled by hymns and spiritual songs and those who sang them. It has been a joy to learn of pastors and speakers of the past who have faithfully delivered the Word of God too. Now both of those things are coming together on the all new “Word and Worship Then and Now” program. How I see the show

I see the show, as it is produced and prepared with the music and clips of the spoken Word, as a masterfully grilled steak of gospel truth. My role as host is to take that steak and be that pinch of salt that gets sprinkled on top, making that steak taste just right. Not too much salt, but just enough to make that steak taste its’ best. As a radio personality I have always seen myself as the salt on a steak that can ruin or enhance the experience for the one on the other side of the speaker. So, it is my prayer that this show glorifies God and enhances your life.
