PART-TIME RECEPTIONIST &
OFFICE ASSISTANT
Crawford Broadcasting—Birmingham is looking for an experienced, part-time Receptionist who will provide support to our Office Managers and onsite staff. The right candidate should have secretarial or related experience, ability to work independently with minimal supervision, strong organizational and time-management skills; including the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, strong interpersonal skills and ease with both telephone and in-person contacts, basic working knowledge in using Excel and Word programs are preferred. Also, experience in maintaining email and calendar accounts using Outlook and a familiarity with various office equipment (Printers, Scanners, Fax, Postage Meter, Multi-Line Phone etc.) are a plus.

Radio Commercial Producer
Open position: Radio Commercial Producer for premier Christian Radio station WDJC – 93.7FM, in Birmingham, Alabama – A member of the Crawford Media Radio Group
Job description: Write, produce, voice commercials for direct retail clients. Write and produce promotional announcements, liners, imaging for station(s). Work in concert with Account Executive to develop results producing ad campaign for our clients. Position requires direct contact with clients and prospective clients. The person hired will become familiar with our proprietary process for securing and developing long-term advertising campaigns, and be required to know, understand and properly execute it in his/her role as a Radio Commercial Producer.
Applicant requirements: The ideal candidate will have demonstrable commercial writing skills, audio and studio production skills, talent for voice work, and interpersonal skills. This position requires a certain level of “sales” skill, in the sense that our Radio Commercial Producers work directly with our clients, and don’t depend entirely on an intermediary such as a sales rep. College degrees and/or vocational training helpful, but not required.
Candidates must be willing to re-locate to Birmingham, Alabama. Candidates will not be considered without a demo reel of production work, including voice work along with a resume.
